The upper drive belt has an idler tensioning assembly, so belt stretching is not much of an issue on this item. Check the belt occasionally for fraying and nicks, and verify the idler pulley really does rotate. A frozen idler pulley bearing can cause friction on both the belt and pulley the belt will get weak and eventually fail, often due to wearing a hole in the pulley and getting nicked on the metal opening. Part number TWG-BRG has a replacement for this bearing.
